Dubai Boat Fire Near Fuel Station Quickly Contained

Dubai: A boat caught fire in Dubai Port on Sunday morning, civil defence officials said.

The fire broke out near a fuel station in the area, the authority added.

The Dubai Civil Defence Operations Room was notified of the incident at 11:50am. The Dubai Port Fire Station was immediately dispatched as the first responder and arrived at the scene within three minutes.

The site will be handed over to the relevant authorities once the cooling procedures are completed, following standard procedures.
