ADNOC Drilling Welcomes Two New Jack-Up Rigs to UAE
ADNOC Drilling Strengthens Operations with New Rigs and Positive Outlook for 2025

ADNOC Drilling Adds Two New Jack-Up Rigs, Expanding Fleet to 142
Abu Dhabi, Dec. 23 (BNA): Two brand new jack-up rigs from ADNOC Drilling have arrived in the UAE and will begin operations in Q1. This takes the fleet size to 142 rigs, making ADNOC Drilling one of the largest rig fleet owners in the world.
The new rigs top off a strong year for ADNOC Drilling, according to the Emirates News Agency.
“ADNOC Drilling has acted as a high-quality, defensive business since its IPO, consistently meeting guidance and expectations,” JPMorgan stated in an analyst note. Positive developments in ADNOC Drilling’s two joint ventures are also reflected in the good performance.
The UAE’s unconventional energy assets are being developed more quickly because to Turnwell’s record early well delivery time and Enersol’s acquisition of four oilfield services technology companies this year.
There is still a lot to come from ADNOC Drilling in 2025; after raising its guidance for the second time this year with third-quarter results, the company is heading into its strongest quarter ever in Q4, on the back of positive signs that it will continue to grow at least mid-single digits as it continues to improve its operations.
