UAE and Tanzania Strengthen Cooperation at Inaugural Political Consultative Meeting
The inaugural meeting of the Political Consultative Committee between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and the United Republic of Tanzania was held in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
The meeting was chaired by Lana Nusaybi, Assistant Minister of State for Political Affairs, and Mahmud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The two parties evaluated the status of their bilateral relations at the time of the meeting, looked into ways to deepen their collaboration, talked about a variety of topics of common interest, and shared opinions on political and regional events that both parties found concerning.
Nusaybi said the UAE and Tanzania’s relationship is continuing expanding in a variety of ways, including successful trade, joint efforts to tackle climate change, and the exploration of new commercial opportunities.
Broadening the scope of bilateral and international collaboration, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to achieving their shared objectives at the end of the meeting.
