UAE and Serbia Strengthen Health Cooperation for Innovative Solutions and Global Best Practices

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) is discussing with the Republic of Serbia ways to increase cooperation in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) health sector, develop joint opportunities, exchange health care solutions and foster communication between health institutions in both countries.

Both sides are exploring ways to benefit from the innovative approaches and scientific expertise of Serbian healthcare institutions, thereby supporting sustainable development in the healthcare sectors of both countries.

Dr. Amin Hussain Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Health Regulatory Affairs, MoHAP, and Dr. Danica Savovic, Charge d’Affaires at the Republic of Serbian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, together other representatives, convened a meeting recently in Abu Dhabi. from Serbia’s Private Health Industry.

Enhancing prospects for meaningful cooperation and strengthening health relations between the two nations are important, according to Dr. Al Amiri. He emphasized that the Ministry is dedicated to sharing information and experiences in global health by forming strategic international collaborations that prioritize knowledge sharing and adherence to global best practices, in keeping with the “We UAE 2031” vision.

Dr. Al Amiri delineated multiple domains for cooperation, encompassing health technology, inventive healthcare remedies, and the dissemination of internationally acknowledged optimal methodologies. He emphasized that the UAE is open to international collaboration while welcoming Serbian healthcare institutions to the nation. The Serbian delegation conveyed a strong desire to elevate the two nations’ health relations to a new height. The two sides agreed to maintain continuous coordination and regular exchange of visits to define priorities for future cooperation and develop a road map for joint projects to effectively address global challenges, improve the quality of health services and strengthen health systems in both countries.
