Jitendra Vaidya Lauds PM Modi’s Foreign Policies and Achievements During UAE Visit
During a special conversation with the President of the Indian People’s Forum, UAE, Jitendra Vaidya, currently campaigning in India for the BJP in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, OneIndia.com aimed to understand the perspectives of Indians living abroad and their families in the country regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government’s foreign policies.
Jitendra Vaidya shared that he feels privileged to have met Prime Minister Modi several times. He noted that each meeting with the PM leaves him infused with a new and positive energy. Vaidya emphasized that the 3.6 million Indians residing in the UAE hold PM Modi in high esteem and are particularly thankful for his role in establishing the first Hindu Temple in the UAE. This achievement has fostered a strong sense of community and pride among Indians abroad. Additionally, Vaidya praised PM Modi for the completion of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a significant cultural and religious milestone. He pointed out that this event was celebrated not just by Indians or Hindus, but by people from all communities who lit up Diya and celebrated Diwali on January 22, marking a moment of unity and joy.
The inauguration of the first temple in the UAE by PM Modi on February 14 was a notable event, organized by Vaidya’s Indian People’s Forum, UAE. When asked about the opposition and Rahul Gandhi’s claims of dethroning PM Modi, Vaidya remarked that while a strong opposition is essential for a healthy democracy, the Congress MP’s assertions are unfounded. He further stated that PM Modi continues to garner extensive support from Indian voters, who are convinced that “Ayega Toh Modi Hi” (PM Modi will win).
To illustrate the widespread support for PM Modi, Vaidya shared an anecdote from his election campaign experiences. He recounted a conversation with an elderly woman who had benefited from the PM Aawas Yojna, receiving Rs 2 Lakhs. When he inquired about her voting preference, she unequivocally said Modi. Upon Vaidya’s clarification that Modi was not a candidate in her local constituency, the woman confidently replied that she understood this, but she also believed that her vote would contribute to making Modi the Prime Minister again. This story, according to Vaidya, exemplifies the deep trust and confidence that many voters have in PM Modi’s leadership and their desire to see him continue in his role as Prime Minister.
