ECB announces affordable tickets for UAE-Bangladesh T20Is

Bangladesh Players Arrive Amidst Uncertainty Over Pakistan Tour

ECB Announces Affordable Tickets for UAE-Bangladesh T20I Series in Sharjah

Dubai, 11 May 2025 In partnership with Sharjah Cricket Stadium, the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that tickets for the forthcoming UAE vs. Bangladesh T20 International series will be reasonably priced. The two-match series is scheduled for May 17 and 19 in Sharjah.

Tickets are now available at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium Box Office. On both match days, gates will open at 5:00 PM. General stand tickets are priced at AED 30 (approx. ₹697), gold/platinum stands at AED 75 (approx. ₹1,744), and VIP box access at AED 200 (approx. ₹4,651).

Bangladesh, led by wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das, is set to arrive in Dubai in the coming week. Two of its players – leg-spinner Rishad Hossain and fast bowler Nahid Rana – had already landed in Dubai after the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 was indefinitely postponed due to escalating border tensions between India and Pakistan. They briefly returned to Dhaka and will travel to the UAE with the rest of the team shortly.

Following their T20I stint in the UAE, Bangladesh is expected to head to Pakistan on May 21 for a five-match T20I series from May 25 to June 3 in Lahore and Faisalabad. However, that tour is now uncertain due to continued border concerns and the IPL 2025’s temporary halt.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced that talks with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are still continuing on and reaffirmed its commitment to the UAE visit. All decisions pertaining to the Pakistan tour will be taken following a comprehensive evaluation of the regional situation, the BCB stressed, emphasizing that player and staff safety is of utmost importance.
