The fee for the visa is 700 dirhams. In addition, a security deposit of 2000 dirhams is required. This amount will be refunded. Action will be taken against those who stay in the UAE for more days than the allotted time. A fine of 50 dirhams will be charged for each day of overstay.
The person applying for a visa must be 18 years old. Must have a passport valid for six months. Must have a document proving that they have sufficient funds. Must have travel insurance. A return ticket is also required. Related documents must be provided when submitting the application online. The visa will be granted within seven days.
Ramadan 2025: UAE working hours reduced
In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, the working hours of those working in the private sector in the UAE have been reduced by two hours. The circular issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Empowerment explained that employees can be given opportunities, including work from home, considering the nature of the work.
The working hours of those working in the public sector in the UAE will be from 9 am to 2.30 pm. The timings will be from 9 am to 12 pm on Fridays from Monday to Thursday.
