Get ready, UAE! Foggy mornings are on the horizon, and humidity is set to rise.

Dubai: The UAE is gearing up for a spell of weather that, while generally stable, will show some variation until Thursday. Expect partly cloudy skies ahead, with increasing humidity levels making their presence felt at night. There’s also a growing possibility of fog or mist forming in the interior regions, as noted by the National Centre of Meteorology.

Starting on Monday, the skies will be a mix of clouds, and we might see some low clouds drifting over islands and parts of the western regions. As night falls and Tuesday morning approaches, the humidity will start to creep up, particularly along the western coast and in internal areas. Winds will be light to moderate, shifting from northeast to southeast, and they could pick up at times during the day, with speeds hitting around 35 kilometres per hour. As for the sea conditions, they’re expected to be slight to moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Looking ahead to Tuesday, it seems like we’re in for a repeat of the partly cloudy weather, with low clouds continuing to form over the islands and western areas. Humidity will again rise overnight, leading to a chance of mist by Wednesday morning in certain western regions. Winds will remain light to moderate and might freshen up at times, while the sea conditions are likely to stay slight to moderate.

By Wednesday, cloud coverage is anticipated to increase, creating a partly cloudy sky. The humid conditions in the evening could pave the way for fog or mist, especially in the internal areas, as we head into Thursday morning. So, stay tuned, and perhaps prepare for some slightly damp mornings ahead!

The winds will change direction, shifting from the northeast to the northwest, sometimes picking up strength and gusting up to 40 km/h. If you plan to be near the water, take note: sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf might get a bit rough come nightfall. This weather pattern looks like it’s here to stay through Thursday, bringing along partly cloudy to overcast skies and a continuation of the humid conditions overnight.

And speaking of the mornings, don’t be surprised if you wake up to some fog or mist in certain inland areas by Friday. Those northwesterly winds will still be blowing, adding to the change. When it comes to the seas, expect them to range from moderate to rough out in the Arabian Gulf, while the Sea of Oman remains slightly calmer.
