UAE Floating Hospital Welcomes 3rd Batch of Indonesian Medical Professionals to Boost Humanitarian Efforts

The UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish, Egypt, has welcomed the third group of Indonesian medical professionals in a major move to improve healthcare services in the area.
The group, which consists of 25 doctors and nurses with various specialties, will work with Emirati medical professionals to provide critical treatment, particularly to patients in the Gaza Strip.

The UAE and Indonesia are working together as part of the continuing humanitarian endeavor known as “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” showcasing their strong bilateral ties. Enhancing the hospital’s ability to manage complicated medical conditions while providing high-quality care is the initiative’s principal goal.

The UAE Floating Hospital has been a vital source of medical aid in the area since its founding in February 2024, offering complete care to anyone in need. Over 8,600 medical procedures, over 3,300 surgeries, and 3,700 physiotherapy sessions have already been performed at the institution. With 100 beds, surgical capabilities, critical care units, and diagnostic services, it is outfitted with cutting-edge technology.

The UAE’s commitment to providing immediate medical assistance in times of crisis is highlighted by the presence of the Indonesian medical team, which further confirms the commitment of both countries to humanitarian causes. This project demonstrates the UAE’s leadership in international humanitarian efforts, while also improving healthcare in the region.
