Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Visits Al Maria Community Bank to Review Achievements and Future Plans
Abu Dhabi [UAE], September 20 :
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, visited the headquarters of Al Maria Community Bank (MBank) in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, where he was briefed on the bank’s products, services, achievements, future plans and Emiratisation efforts.
Sheikh Nahyan was welcomed by Mbank’s Chairman Tariq Ahmad Al Massoud, Executive Board members Omran Al Ghuri, Khalid Thani Al Romaidi, Younes Fatehali Al Ghaja, Mohammad Wasim Khayada, Tayeb Al Kamali and Sultan Karmostaji.
During his visit, Sheikh Nahyan toured the bank and got an overview of the bank’s journey since its inception in 2021, including its achievements, awards and recent innovations such as the Mbank Wallet mobile app linked to the Zaiwan local debit card. Mbank Wallet is the UAE’s first national digital wallet
Also, Sheikh Nahyan was introduced to Mbank’s ITQAN–Universal Digital Banker Training Program, an advanced banking and finance digital training program that nurtures high-potential UAE national fresh graduates with experience in the field.
Thanking Sheikh Nahyan for his visit, Mbank Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Wasim Khayada reiterated the bank’s dedication to offering cutting-edge solutions in line with the UAE’s goal of a diversified, knowledge-based economy.
