The newly inaugurated Al Nasr Mosque in Sharjah is capturing widespread attention for its unique and contemporary architectural design. One of the Al Nasr Mosque’s most remarkable features is its spherical glass dome, measuring 20 meters in diameter and 16 meters in height. Covering nearly 80 percent of the mosque’s roof, the dome is constructed using honeycomb-patterned glass panels. This innovative design allows natural light to filter through throughout the day, creating a bright and peaceful atmosphere inside the main prayer hall.
