Lufthansa Airlines has confirmed that a flight bound for Bangkok from Munich was diverted to Delhi due to the behavior of an “unruly passenger” of German nationality. The disruptive conduct, described as a dispute between a husband and wife, led to the decision to divert the flight. The cabin crew reported the incident, prompting the diversion to Delhi. The unruly passenger has been offloaded, and Lufthansa is coordinating with the German Embassy regarding the individual. The flight is now ready for pushback to Bangkok after addressing the situation and cooling off the aircraft’s tires. The decision on further actions, including involving Indian enforcement agencies or accepting the passenger’s apology and returning him to Germany, is pending.
