UAE Strongly Condemns Ongoing Israeli Attacks on Syria
Abu Dhabi [UAE], May 4: The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned Israel’s continued attacks on Syrian territory, and expressed its firm support for Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued a statement saying that Israel’s actions are against Syria’s national sovereignty and violate international law. It expressed its firm stance on the violations. The Ministry specifically pointed to the “Agreement of Disengagement” signed in 1974 between Israel and Syria, which is being disregarded by these military actions.
The UAE also emphasized its rejection of any actions that escalate tensions in the region, stressing that such attacks hinder the pursuit of peace and stability in the Middle East.
