President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, on a significant working visit to the UAE.
The meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, commenced with the conveyance of greetings and well-wishes from His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, expressed by Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. In response, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended warm greetings to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and conveyed his wishes for the continuous progress and prosperity of Qatar and its people.
During the discussions, the leaders delved into the strong fraternal relations between the UAE and Qatar, exploring avenues to enhance cooperation and collaborative efforts for the mutual benefit of both nations. The meeting aimed to further consolidate the strategic partnership and advance shared interests.
The agenda covered a range of regional and international topics of mutual interest, with both sides exchanging views on these matters. The engagement exemplifies the commitment to open and constructive dialogue, fostering understanding and cooperation on various fronts.
The distinguished gathering included key figures such as Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region; Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; and Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhboot Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the State of Qatar.
The meeting also saw the participation of the accompanying delegation of the Qatari Prime Minister, including Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior; Dr. Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UAE; and several senior officials.
Earlier in the day, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani was warmly welcomed at Al Bateen Airport by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser. The visit underlines the continuous efforts to strengthen ties and engage in meaningful cooperation between the UAE and Qatar.
