UAE National Guard saves 10 crew members from a blaze on board a ship at sea
Ten crew members were successfully rescued by the UAE National Guard from a merchant vessel that caught fire while sailing in the open, in a well-publicized rescue operation.
The incident, which posed a serious threat to the lives of those on board, was immediately dealt with by the National Guard’s Coast Guard Team and the National Search and Rescue Center. Their rapid response and perfect coordination allowed all sailors to be safely evacuated without any casualties.
