UAE Introduces Mandatory e-Visa for GCC Residents
Dubai: The Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced that all foreigners in the Walaikuda Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will be required to undergo an electronic check before receiving wealth from the country.
Applications for this e-Visa can be submitted at the regular public directorate in Dubai on matters related to immigration and foreigners or the official websites of the Federal Authority for Identification, Civil Rights, Sungam and Ports. Once approved, the e-Visa has been sent to the registered email address with the application fee.
It should be noted that e-Visakhas will not be issued to family members or their dependents of GCC residents traveling with their sponsor. After the e-Visa is issued, applicants need to obtain United Arab Emirates within 30 days. E-Visa United Arab Emirates before 30 days stay, intention to stay more than 30 days.
A new e-Visa is required when the resident changes employment after the visa has been issued. Applicants are advised to keep their vouchers valid for at least six months from the date of travel and their GCC residency permits valid for one year.
