UAE Extends Generous Humanitarian Aid of AED 50 Million to Palestine
In a profound gesture of solidarity, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, as well as Ruler of Dubai, has pledged humanitarian aid amounting to AED 50 million (approximately $13 million) to Palestine. The assistance will be administered by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives relief foundation, echoing the UAE’s steadfast commitment to providing swift support to vulnerable communities during times of crisis, according to reports from WAM.
In a parallel initiative, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently authorized the allocation of $20 million in humanitarian aid to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. This act of compassion further underscores the UAE’s dedication to alleviating the plight of those in need, particularly during challenging circumstances.
