UAE, US Presidents Discuss Strengthening Strategic Partnership in Phone Call
Abu Dhabi [UAE], March 26: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Donald Trump engaged in a phone call to explore avenues for enhancing the strategic partnership between their nations.They discussed a variety of topics, reaffirming the close and enduring relationship between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, recently visited the United States, which was a topic of lively conversation. The two presidents acknowledged the importance of this visit, which led to significant alliances and agreements in the fields of artificial intelligence, advanced technology, infrastructure and energy. They underlined their mutual commitment to economic development and innovation, and the positive impact of these successes on the development of bilateral relations between the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
The two presidents discussed regional and international concerns, especially the Middle East situation. Two of the main points of discussion were achieving a ceasefire in Gaza and preserving regional stability. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed emphasized the necessity of humanitarian aid for the impacted Gaza population as well as the UAE’s steadfast support for the two-state solution as a pillar of regional peace and security.
