UAE Ambassador to Sweden Assumes Role Before President Mohamed bin Zayed

Abu Dhabi [UAE], January 29: Ghasaq Yousif Abdullah Shaheen, the new UAE Ambassador to Sweden, took the oath before President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today

The ceremony, held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi, was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

The President congratulated the Ambassador on his successful assignment and encouraged him to work diligently to strengthen UAE-Sweden relations at all levels. He underlined the important role of UAE embassies in fostering constructive cooperation with countries around the world.

Ambassador Shaheen expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him by the UAE leadership, and pledged to serve the country’s interests with dedication.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the UAE; Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, and many other senior officials.
