Trump Accuses Biden of ‘Economic Woes’ and Claims Migrant Influx Is ‘Poisoning’ America

Former President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on President Joe Biden, attributing the country’s economic challenges and border security issues to his administration. In a 90-minute speech at the University of New Hampshire, Trump pledged to address the “dire border crisis” on his “first day back in the White House” by ending the Biden administration’s “open border policy.”

Trump asserted that the influx of migrants is “poisoning the blood of our country” and described the situation as a threat to the American Dream. He addressed a fervent crowd, emphasizing that the Biden administration’s policies are detrimental to the nation.

“As long as Joe Biden is in the White House, the American Dream is dead,” Trump declared, calling the current president “truly the worst, most incompetent, and most corrupt president in the history of our country.” He promised that a second Trump term would “bring our country back from hell.”

The former president also expressed his criticisms on the Truth Social platform, stating that “ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS POISONING THE BLOOD OF OUR NATION” and declaring Biden a “threat to democracy.”

During his speech, Trump highlighted ongoing criminal cases against him and accused Biden of persecuting a political opponent. He referenced Russian President Vladimir Putin’s comments on the “rottenness” of the American political system, using them to attack Biden’s leadership.

Despite facing legal challenges, polls suggest that Trump maintains significant popularity, with a recent poll indicating he would defeat Biden in a hypothetical rematch. Trump holds a considerable lead in the 2024 GOP primary and has strong support in key states.
