Tragic Accident in Bahrain as Kindergarten Girl Fatally Run Over by Bus

In a heart-wrenching incident in Bahrain, a three-year-old girl named Fatima lost her life after being tragically run over by a kindergarten bus just as she disembarked in front of her house. The horrifying accident unfolded when the Asian driver and bus supervisor, initially shocked by the incident, rushed the child to the Salmaniya Medical Complex.

Fatima’s brothers, Hussein and Muhammad, who were eyewitnesses to the devastating scene, could hardly believe the tragedy as they saw their sister’s blood outside their home and her shoes stained with blood. The family rushed to the hospital, where Fatima was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Accident and Emergency Department.

The Traffic Prosecution’s Attorney General reported receiving a traffic accident report resulting in the girl’s death. The defendants, both Asian nationals serving as the driver and supervisor, were responsible for transporting the girl from school to her residence. The supervisor, in a violation of instructions, allowed Fatima to exit the vehicle without accompanying her.

Acknowledging the accusation, the driver admitted to the charges. As a result, the Public Prosecution ordered their provisional detention pending the case, subsequently referring them to custody before the competent criminal court. The tragic incident has left the community in mourning and highlights the importance of ensuring utmost care and adherence to safety measures in transportation, particularly when involving young children.
