Saudi Crown Prince Assures Cabinet of King’s Health, Highlights Regional Commitments
RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reassured Ministers of King Salman’s good health during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, as reported by the state news agency (SPA).
The king had undergone medical tests at royal clinics at the palace earlier on Sunday following complaints of a high temperature and joint pain, as confirmed by SPA. Subsequent diagnosis revealed lung inflammation, for which he was prescribed a course of antibiotics, receiving treatment at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.
This announcement from the Crown Prince aimed to allay concerns and provide transparency regarding the health status of the monarch, ensuring continuity and stability in the leadership of the kingdom.
In addition to addressing the King’s health, the Crown Prince seized the opportunity to brief the council on the outcomes of the Council of the League of Arab States session.
