Primus Partners Expands Global Footprint with New UAE Office

BENGALURU: In a strategic move to increase its global presence, India’s leading domestic consulting firm Primus Partners Pvt Ltd has announced the opening of a new office in the United Arab Emirates. This strategic decision highlights Primus Partners’ commitment to service delivery and engagement in key Middle Eastern markets.

The UAE office will be set up as a wholly owned subsidiary of Primus Partners India. Nader Hafar’s move as director is a significant step in its expansion into international jurisdiction. Mr. Huffer brings knowledge and expertise to his role with over 30 years of experience in professional services and management consulting in global, local and regional markets.

The new office was set up in line with the recently signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) between India and the UAE, covering key areas such as bilateral trade, energy cooperation, infrastructure development, cultural exchange and people-to-people initiatives. In addition, the India – UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) recently came into effect, creating a strong framework for future cooperation between the two countries.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Modi’s 7th visit to UAE played an important role in laying the foundation for these important trade relations. In FY 2022-23, the UAE will become India’s third largest trading partner and second largest export destination. India is the UAE’s second largest trading partner with bilateral trade reaching $85 billion. These developments will lead the two countries to the ambitious target of $100 billion bilateral trade, which could be achieved before 2030.

Nilaya Verma, Co-Founder and CEO, Primus Partners said, “Expanding in Dubai is an important step in our strategic vision to build deep and fruitful partnerships in the region. As the UAE continues to rise in the global economy, we see great potential in driving innovative solutions and thought leadership in this market. This expansion enhances our ability to provide tailored and high-value services to customers and positions us to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the segment. Going forward, the focus will be on growing our presence for leading transformation projects and cementing our role as a leading consultant in the industry.

Nader Hafar, Director of Primus UAE commented, “Our new office in the UAE will play a key role in driving forward key regional projects. By promoting initiatives like IMMEC and I2U2, we not only contribute to global trade dynamics, but also drive innovation that addresses critical areas such as infrastructure and sustainable development. Our goal is to use these opportunities to create lasting economic and environmental impact.

Devinder Sandhu, Co-Founder and Chairman, Primus Partners added, “Our recent office opening in Chennai is a major milestone and our expansion into UAE and KSA represents the next strategic step in this journey. The two countries have ushered in a new era of economic cooperation and innovation. This expansion is more than a geographic move, as it puts us at the center of transformative projects that will drive sustainable growth and economic progress across the region. We will use our expertise to contribute meaningfully to the dynamic development of the Middle East.

Over the past two years, Primus Partners has doubled its workforce, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and innovation. The opening of the new office in the UAE marks a strategic growth milestone and paves the way for future developments. With strong expertise in key policy areas, the new entity will strengthen its thought leadership and enable the organization to leverage its expanded capabilities. Together with the new partner, the company will transform the future of consulting in key areas.
