Oman Customs Seize Over 11,500 Bottles of Alcoholic Beverages in Raids
The Oman Customs Department recently conducted successful raids in the North and South Al Batinah Governorates, leading to the seizure of over 11,500 bottles of alcoholic beverages. In the Wilayat of Sohar, officials from the Department of Compliance and Risk Assessment targeted a location housing large quantities of alcoholic beverages. Additionally, in the Wilayat of Barka, a truck loaded with alcoholic beverages was intercepted. These combined efforts resulted in a significant haul, demonstrating Oman Customs’ commitment to combatting illegal activities related to alcohol.
