Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL) Expands to UAE, Launches Campa Cola at Gulfood 2025
The FMCG division of Reliance Industries, Reliance Consumer Products Ltd. (RCPL), has formally launched its well-known soft drink brand, Campa Cola, into the UAE market. The debut, which was held at Gulfood 2025, the biggest food and beverage trade show in the world, was a major turning point in RCPL’s global growth.
Strategic Entry into the UAE Market
Through a strategic relationship with Agthia Group, a prominent food and beverage firm in the region, Campa Cola, a nostalgic Indian soft drink brand that made a great resurgence in India, is now making its way into the United Arab Emirates. This move highlights RCPL’s long-term vision for the Middle Eastern market, targeting both Indian expatriates and local consumers with a blend of nostalgia and affordability.
A Historic Brand Reimagined for Global Growth
RCPL acquired Campa Cola in 2022 and reintroduced it to the Indian market in 2023.
The company wants to make the brand well-known outside of India with its launch in the United Arab Emirates. Ketan Mody, COO of RCPL, noted that Campa Cola boasts over 50 years of legacy and is now positioned for international growth, producing high-quality beverages at low pricing.
Partnership with Agthia Group for Market Penetration
Agthia Group CEO Alan Smith recognized the sentimental attachment that many customers, particularly those in the Indian diaspora, had to Campa Cola. He was confident that Agthia’s strong distribution network and in-depth knowledge of the UAE market would guarantee the brand’s success.
The Abu Dhabi-based Agthia Group is a part of ADQ, one of the biggest investment holding firms in the United Arab Emirates. With its wide market reach and experience, Agthia is anticipated to be crucial in making Campa Cola the go-to option for UAE customers.
