The Kuwaiti Ministry of Education has announced new school hours as a measure to alleviate traffic congestion, especially with the upcoming academic year. The approved schedule outlines the following timings:
- Nurseries: 7:15 am to 12:05 pm
- Elementary schools: 7:15 am to 1:15 pm
- Middle schools: 7:30 am to 1:40 pm
- High schools: 7:45 am to 1:55 pm
These adjusted hours are set to be implemented for the 2023–2024 school year. The move is aimed at ensuring smoother traffic flow during school hours.
