Nellai Resident Wins AED 1 Million in Dubai Lottery After Three Years of Attempts
Dubai, Feb. 1- A lucky lottery draw is being held every week in Dubai on behalf of a private company. Peer Muhammad Adam (age 41) is from Nellai in Tamil Nadu.
He works as a senior electrician in a public sector company in Dubai. He has won a prize of 10 lakh dirhams (about 2.35 crores in Indian currency) for the ticket he bought in the lucky lottery.
Regarding this, he told a reporter from Dinathanthi in Dubai:-
I have been working in Dubai since 2007. My wife and 4-year-old daughter live in Nellai.
For the last 3 years, I, my Indian and Pakistani friends, and a total of 20 people, have been participating in the lucky lottery every month in Dubai. This time, we bought lottery tickets in my name and participated in the draw. For the first time in the last 3 years, we have been lucky.
The prize money of 10 lakh dirhams has been credited to my bank account. I have distributed cheques to all my friends. I am going to spend my share of this towards family needs, future savings and helping the poor people who are suffering. I thank God for winning the lucky lottery draw.
