Emirati astronaut Sultan AlNeyadi is set to return to the UAE on Monday, September 18th, after spending six months aboard the International Space Station (ISS) conducting scientific research. He, along with his Crew-6 colleagues, completed their mission on September 4th with a splashdown off the coast of Jacksonville, Florida, before heading to Houston for recovery. AlNeyadi’s return marks the end of the longest-ever Arab space mission, and the UAE is preparing to give him a hero’s welcome, eager to hear about his historic journey and experiences in space.
