Dubai Ride – the region’s largest community cycling event now returning for its fifth edition – is open to all, regardless of age or ability. Dubai Ride Lanes will open to the public at 5am, with cyclists starting their journey at 6.15am and ending at 8am.
This is the third year in a row that Careem has partnered with RTA for the cycling event.
“This initiative by RDA not only aims to make Dubai a cycle-friendly city, but also encourages the community to consider sustainable transport alternatives. Our partnership with Careem Bike plays an essential role in advancing the key priorities of sustainability, health, safety and customer happiness,” said Abdulrahman Mohammed Aljanahi, Director of Roads Right of Way, Transport and Roads Agency and Chairman of RTA’s Sports Committee.
“We are delighted to support the RTA’s work to enhance the Dubai Ride experience for residents and tourists again this year. By offering free bike rental, we are making it easy for everyone to participate in the event, whether they own a bike or not,” said Sami Amin, Senior Operations Director, Careem.
