Amidst a harrowing accident in Ras Al Khaimah, two Emirati sisters, Amna and Maitha Muftah Muhammad, demonstrated exceptional courage and compassion. Encountering a car crash on an outer road, they swiftly sprang into action to save the lives of five individuals from an injured Asian family.
The sisters fearlessly pulled the injured victims from the vehicle just moments before it was consumed by flames. They administered vital first aid, offering crucial assistance until the arrival of ambulance and rescue teams.
Their extraordinary act of bravery did not go unnoticed. Ras Al Khaimah Police, under the guidance of Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Police, promptly recognized and honored the two sisters for their outstanding citizenship.
Narrating the incident, Maitha revealed that they were returning from Ras Al Khaimah Airport when they witnessed the aftermath of a vehicle accident caused by a tire explosion, resulting in injuries to five members of an Asian family. Amidst the chaos, they found a woman in her fifties in need of immediate care. Maitha provided essential support, stabilizing her head and neck while offering reassurance about the well-being of her family members.
