Dubai: The Emirates Group has unveiled a series of strategic senior appointments as part of its preparations for the upcoming growth phase. In a move that reflects a commitment to diversity and local talent, the organization has promoted 19 executives, with eight UAE nationals and six women assuming key roles across various sectors.
Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, underscored the importance of aligning the organization with Dubai’s vision. He outlined ambitious plans for the next 15 years, encompassing fleet expansion, network development, and overall business growth. To effectively execute these plans, the group is bolstering its executive team, implementing internal organizational enhancements, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
The appointments, effective from March 1, include significant roles such as Adel Al Redha as Deputy President and Chief Operations Officer, Adnan Kazim as Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Steve Allen as Chief Executive Officer of dnata.
