Dubai is gearing up for the second edition of the Mountain Bike Race, scheduled for October 15 at the scenic mountain bike track located in Mushrif Park, Al-Khawaneej. Organized by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) in collaboration with the Dubai Municipality, this thrilling race will see participants navigate through a lush forest containing an impressive 70,000 trees.
The Mountain Bike Race offers an exciting challenge for riders across three distinct categories, catering to both men and women:

- Amateur category: Spanning a challenging 37 km course
- Professional category: offering the most demanding 56 km track
Last year’s inaugural edition witnessed the successful participation of 350 riders of various ages and nationalities. Emiratis Khalifa Al-Kaabi and Marwa Al-Haj clinched the top honors in the men’s and women’s amateur categories, respectively, which covered a distance of 37 km.
The mountain bike track is designed to maximize suspense and excitement, featuring climbs, curves, jumps, and, most notably, a captivating route through a dense forest. Participants can expect an exhilarating experience as they navigate through this unique terrain.
Those interested in taking part in this thrilling event have until October 8 to register. Valuable prizes await the winners in each category, making it an enticing opportunity for mountain biking enthusiasts and competitive riders alike.
