Dubai RTA set to launch ‘On & Off’ tourist bus service this September

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is preparing to launch a new and exciting initiative that will improve the experience of both residents and visitors: the ‘On & Off Bus’ tourist service. Launched this September, the service aims to attract a diverse group of travelers, providing a convenient and enjoyable way to explore some of the city’s most popular landmarks and attractions.

The ‘On & Off Bus’ service begins its journey from the iconic Dubai Mall, one of the city’s main shopping and entertainment venues. From there, passengers can embark on a carefully designed route that covers many of Dubai’s most popular and culturally significant sites. The bus will stop at the stunning Dubai Frame, the historic Heritage Village, the futuristic Museum of the Future, the bustling Gold Souk, the serene La Mer Beach, the architecturally impressive Jumeirah Mosque, and the trendy City Walk.

Designed to operate with maximum convenience, this service runs daily from 10 a.m. Buses will depart from Dubai Mall every 60 minutes, allowing travelers to get on and off at their leisure to visit each stop. The entire trip, if done on a longer journey, takes about two hours, giving passengers plenty of time to soak in the views and enjoy the ride.

The RTA has tickets for the ‘On & Off Bus’ service at AED35, making it an affordable option for those who want to experience Dubai’s top attractions. These tickets are flexible, allowing passengers to use them at any time of day, whether they choose to do the entire route in one go or spread their exploration across multiple destinations.

The launch of the service reflects Dubai’s commitment to world-class tourism experiences and further establishes the city as a leading destination in the world. With the introduction of the ‘On & Off Bus’, the RTA is offering both convenience and value, making it easier than ever for tourists and residents alike to explore the unique and diverse wonders Dubai has to offer.

As the service prepares to launch, anticipation is building among those eager to use this new way to get around the city. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a long-time visitor, the ‘On & Off Bus’ promises a fresh and exciting way to see Dubai.
