Diplomatic Milestone: Oman and Slovakia Sign Visa Waiver Pact

Oman and Slovakia have taken a significant step in strengthening their bilateral relations by signing an agreement to mutually exempt entry visas for holders of diplomatic, private, and service passports. This agreement aims to facilitate smoother travel between the two nations for individuals carrying these types of passports.

The signing ceremony took place during a meeting between Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Miroslav Vlachovski, Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the seventy-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The discussion during the meeting covered various aspects of cooperation and explored avenues to further enhance their partnership. Additionally, both sides exchanged perspectives on current regional and international matters of mutual concern.

This visa exemption agreement underscores the commitment of Oman and Slovakia to fostering closer ties in a variety of fields, marking a positive development in their diplomatic relationship.
