China achieved yet another milestone in its space endeavors with the successful launch of a new remote sensing satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. The satellite, designated as Yaogan 39, was carried into orbit by a Long March-2D carrier rocket.
