Chile Joins International Solar Alliance as 95th Member
Chile has officially joined the International Solar Alliance (ISA) as its 95th member, according to an announcement from the Ministry of External Affairs. The formalization took place during a meeting between Chilean Ambassador Juan Angulo and Abhishek Singh, Joint Secretary (Economic Diplomacy) at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. The ISA, established through collaborative efforts by India and France, aims to promote the deployment of solar energy technologies to enhance energy access, security, and transition towards sustainable energy sources. Currently, there are 116 countries that are signatories to the ISA Framework Agreement.
